The R Series Integrated Flow Chemistry System
The Vapourtec R series Flow Chemistry system is an innovative new platform permitting chemists to rapidly develop flow synthesis techniques and achieve a high level of productivity. With a novel new microreactor design and unique flow and temperature control technologies, it offers users the precision that is essential for effective reaction optimisation and rapid scale-up.

Key features available only on the Vapourtec system allow the chemist to achieve more, in less time.
• Higher Heat Transfer Rate: The R4's novel gas cooled and heated reactor system not only enables faster transition between different temperatures, but also allows highly exothermic reactions to be safely handled.
• Complete Visibility: With Vapourtec's novel temperature control system, the entire working volume of the reactor is visible. With Vapourtec's tube reactor, the entire working volume of the reactor is visible. Gas generation or precipitation can be diagnosed immediately.
• Continuous Monitoring of Pump Performance. A unique sensing system immediately detects transient or static air bubbles in the pump, ensuring actual reaction flow matches the setpoint.
• Flexibility: A single R4 reactor station can independently control the temperatures in four separate reactors. Each of the four zones can accept a packed column or a tube reactor from 0.1 to 10ml reaction volume. Temperature control is in the range ambient to 250oC
• Ease of Use: Built-in interface with easy to read display makes setup straightforward. Changing reactors is quick and clean.
• Compact Design: Stacked layout makes optimal use of valuable lab bench space.
• Optional PC Control Software: Permits complete control and logging of reaction parameters, and allows unattended exploration of whole parameter workspace to achieve optimal reaction conditions. • Expandability: Add extra pump modules up to a maximum of 4 channels. Connect to a fraction collector enabling automated sequences of reactions, or an autosampler to select different reagents for each reaction.
